iPhone 4 Simulator to Test and Showcase Mobile Sites

iphone 4 simulator

Looking for a graphic to promote your mobile site? Looking to test how your site will look on an iPhone 4? Now there is a tool available that lets you do both at iphone4simulator.com.

The simulator allows you to type in your mobile domain name to view the site in standard (vertical) mode. You can view the site in horizontal mode by clicking the white horizontal iPhone icon to the left of the simulator. There is also an email icon to allow you to send a link to the simulated page.

I’ll be making good use of this and think you will, too.

Mobile an Important Part of Cross-Channel Marketing

Permission-based text messaging and location-based services expected to be primary strategies

Corporations are typically slow to embrace new technology, but as more and more people replace their standard mobile phones with smartphones, it is now a priority for them to learn how to navigate this new mobile landscape.

Mobile is so often viewed as a standalone channel when, in fact, it is a platform offering a gateway to many channels. Text messaging, mobile email, the mobile Web, applications, and social media all are finding homes on consumer handsets, collectively representing a challenge and opportunity for marketers.

Twitter Industry Chat for Mobile Marketing

Tuesday marked the Alpha test of the new Twitter Industry Chat, #MobileMktgChat. It was an informal icebreaker to test out the format and the timeslot. Due to conflicts with other similar chats, we will test another timeslot this week. Please watch this space and follow @mobienthusiast for further details.

MobileMarketingChat.com thanks the participants in our first chat, and invites those of you reading this to follow them on Twitter.
